As Buddy the Elf would shout, 'SANTA! OH MY GOD! SANTA'S COMING! I KNOW HIM! I KNOW HIM!, and with only two weeks left to go there is much to do before he arrives down the chimney. Yet there is loads happening around the country so if you can, take some time out amidst all the Christmas present shopping, the partying and the organising and enjoy some well earned Christmas cheer. You can visit Santa, eat mince pies, drink Glühwein or do them all together!

- Galway Christmas Market: Market Street, Galway City, 14 - 24 December
- The Fair Alternative: Cork City, 15 – 24 December
