March's Food Festivals & Events

Spring is officially here. The daffodils are out, the sun is shining and there isn't a cloud in sight. I have even seen a guy in shorts which I'm taking as some sort of good omen! The good news is that it is also meant to last over the St. Patrick's weekend so there is no excuse not to get out and about. 

Here are a few events taking place this week:

• Irish Food Week at Rua: Castlebar, Co.Mayo, 10  - 15 March 2014 
• St Patrick's Weekend Irish Craft Beer and Food Market: IFSC, Dublin, 13 -17 March 
• St. Patrick's Festival: Dublin, 14 - 17 March. Includes a food market in Christchurch Cathedral.
